I have been on an epic search for slippers for Evangeline for the better part of 6 months. Seriously. Didn't want big clunky ones, didn't want sock-like ones, didn't want flip-floppy ones. Finally, FINALLY, Lands End put some new ones up on their web site. Wouldn't you just know it, the perfect slippers were right there. Available in 3 colors. I can sleep again.
In other news, look what we got yesterday ... A vintage set of the complete works of Charles Dickens (1880-1920). One of our neighbors was giving it away FOR FREE.
